Privacy Policy

Your Data & iCloud

Your tasks, projects, notes, focus areas, attachments, and settings are stored on your device.

If you're signed in to iCloud, Yukta keeps your devices in sync through your private iCloud database. Apple stores and encrypts it for you; we can't see or access it. To stop syncing, turn off iCloud for Yukta in your device's Settings app.

On-Device AI

Yukta's smart features (understanding what you type or say, suggesting focus areas and places, ranking your tasks, and explaining why) run on your device, using Apple's on-device frameworks: Natural Language, Core ML and, where available, Apple Intelligence's on-device model.

Your tasks are never sent to a server for AI processing, ours or anyone else's.

What Yukta learns from your choices to tune its suggestions stays on that device and isn't synced.

Voice Entry

Yukta uses the microphone only while you're recording a task.

Speech is turned into text on your device whenever an on-device speech model is available for your language. If it isn't, Apple's speech recognition service may process the audio, under Apple's privacy policy.

Voice notes you attach to a task are saved with it, like any other attachment.

Calendar

If you connect your calendar, Yukta reads your events to show how your scheduled time fits your balance. It never creates, changes, or deletes events.

A copy of the events in your sync range is kept in Yukta, and synced through your iCloud like the rest of your data, so your balance can include them.

Reminders Import

When you import from Apple Reminders, Yukta reads your reminders and copies the ones you import into Yukta as tasks. From then on they're stored and synced like your other tasks.

Location

If you turn on location features, Yukta uses your location to switch your context automatically (for example, to Home or Office) and to show the right tasks for where you are.

These checks happen on your device. Yukta doesn't keep a history of where you've been or send your location to any server. If you set a location for a place, its coordinates are saved with that place.

You can turn location access off at any time in Settings.

Photos & Files

Yukta only sees the photos and files you choose to attach. They're stored with your tasks and notes, and synced through your iCloud.

Notifications

Reminders and gentle nudges are scheduled on your device.

Yukta also receives silent notifications from iCloud that tell it when your data changed on another device. They don't contain your tasks.

Widgets & Share Extension

Yukta's widgets and its Share Extension pass data to and from the app through a private storage area on your device that only Yukta can use.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Yukta only learns whether you have Pro; we never see your payment details.

Analytics & Tracking

Yukta doesn't collect analytics, usage data, or telemetry, and it has no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code. We don't know how you use the app or what tasks you create.

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash and performance reports.

Internet Use

Yukta works offline. It goes online only for iCloud sync, App Store purchases, Apple's speech service in the case described above, and links you choose to open.

Your Choices

You're in control of your data:

• Delete individual items within the app
• Export a backup at any time from Settings; the file goes wherever you choose to save or share it
• Use Erase All Data in Settings to delete everything, on this device and, through sync, from your iCloud
• Deleting the app removes its data from that device; to remove the iCloud copy too, erase all data first or delete Yukta's data in your iCloud settings

We retain no copies of your data.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
